Day 43: Beaver Lake to Two Medicine Creek

The unmarked trail quickly disappeared into a labyrinth of use trails. Overgrown bushes swallowed Sierra whole, until her head was barely visible.

We eventually climbed onto a ridge. Above the trees, the ridge was covered with wildflowers and fuzzy, wind blown "Who Heads."  Ahead we could see the rugged, rocky tops of taller mountains, and wondered which of them were in Glacier National Park, which we are quickly approaching.

We descended into the beautiful Two Medicine Creek valley, and found camping near the creek. Although we passed a ranger station and the trail seems well traveled, we did not see any other people today.
